Gary never let academics or other cadet requirements interfere with his number-one goal: the pursuit of sleep. When not in the rack, he could be found in the TV room, Grant Hall, the gym or, on weekends, cavorting and carousing with his cohorts in such dens of iniquity as Snuffy’s and the Hilltop Pub.

Gary Joseph Kelley Obituary
Born in Cortland, NY, June 9, 1956. Died suddenly on November 26,2000 in Pasadena, CA.
Survived by loving wife of 8 months, Anne Murphy Kelley; mother, Helen Kelley of Nevada City, CA; brothers, Robert Kelley of Ekron, KY; sister Sharon Wentworth of Penn Valley, CA; nephews, Brian, Brendan and Dan Lewis, Tim Kelley, Matt, Ryan and Adam Kelley, Henry Anderson and Burke Hoss; nieces, Joanne Harper, Colleen and Mary Kelley, Taylor Hoss, Charlotte Anderson, and Clare and Annie Varellas.
Mr. Kelley graduated from Nevada Union High School in Nevada City, CA in 1974. He achieved a B.S. in Engineering at the US Military Academy at West Point in 1978. He thereafter served seven years in active duty, attaining the rank of Major. During his thirteen years in the US Army Reserves, he served a tour of duty in the NATO Peacekeeping Force in Bosnia. Most recently, Mr. Kelley worked at the Microsoft Corporation, where he was the OEM Sales Manager for Southern California and the Southwestern United States.
Mr. Kelley will be remembered for his exuberant and joyful spirit, love for family, and friendship to people of all ages.
Vigil services will be Friday, December 1st, at 10:30 a.m. at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel, Seattle, Washington. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 1st, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Seattle, WA.
