We Were Soldiers Once and We Were Young
It seems like yesterday when 1,400+ reported to the Man in the Red Sash on July 8th, 1974 and just 4 years later less than 70% listened attentively to then Army Chief of Staff and Commencement Speaker, General Bernard Rogers. The bond we formed over our 4 years continues to strengthen to this day and it is our hope this website will play but a small role at keeping us close, current and active members of the Proud and Great West Point community.
In coordination with the West Point Association of Graduates, we’ve created this website to serve as a place for classmates to connect with other classmates, find the latest class news, and help contribute to our class’s legacy. West Point has had a remarkable impact on each of us. We are who we are largely due to our experiences at West Point and the Army and we must continue to positively shape our world.
Our 50th Reunion will be here before too long and planning is under way. Dale Hamby, has [again] stepped up to be the Reunion Chair and is in the process of assembling the dream team. It seems each reunion is better than the last and I suspect the 50th will not disappoint.
Whether you’ve been able to attend every reunion the class has hosted, or are looking to attend your first, the 50th Class Reunion is a command performance and we hope the vast majority of you will attend. The 50th will coincide with the graduation of our Affiliate Class of 2028, and as such, will take place in late May of 2028. It's never too early to mark your calendars.
