Brian Geiman Obituary
Brian Keith Geiman, 53, of Westminster, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at his brother's residence. Born Dec. 6, 1956, in Saginaw, Mich., he was the son of the late Edward Preston and Mildred P. Myers Geiman. He was a 1974 graduate of Westminster High School, where he was senior class president and had lettered in varsity football and basketball. He served with the Army from 1974 until 1978. He graduated from West Virginia University in 1981 with a degree in psychology. He had also attended Western Maryland College, now McDaniel College. He was a delivery driver with Carroll County Foods. He was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ where he was an elder and Sunday school teacher. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed watching sports, mainly the University of Maryland, West Virginia University, the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Colts. He especially enjoyed being with his daughters and participating in their activities. Surviving are daughters Ryleigh Alyssa and Baleigh Alisabeth Geiman, both of Westminster; a brother, Dale Geiman, of Westminster; brother and sister-in-law Jeffrey and Donna Geiman, of Westminster; a brother, Craig Geiman, of Randallstown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Geiman. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Visitation will also be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service, 10 a.m. Friday at St. Matthews United Church of Christ, 1428 Pleasant Valley Road, Westminster, with his pastor, the Rev. Dale Krotee, officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
